Milwaukie Covenant Church is a group of people who are committed to Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. We believe in the Bible as the living Word of God. Our mission is to build up the Body of Christ and serve Him in the world. In order to accomplish this mission, it is our purpose to equip the believers so that they can all use their God-given gifts to minister for the Lord in the place and in the manner in which He would choose for them.

What This Means!

A group of people - God is calling us to be a family of faith. We are not targeting a narrow segment of society as our mission field, but rather desire to bring together in one spiritual family a broad spectrum of ages, experiences, and interest groups from our community.

The basis of our unity is our commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

The foundation of our faith is revealed in the inspired Word of God, the Bible.

Our Mission is Twofold:

1. To build up the Body of Christ
2. So that we can serve God in the World

Our Strategy is to:

Prepare Believers - Through worship, Bible study, prayer, Christian fellowship, Care and Share support groups, and youth group ministries.

To Serve God - We live as ambassadors of Christ in word and deed.

This takes place in the home, at the school, on the job, inthe marketplace, in the community, in our nation and throughoutthe world. This takes place through witness, evangelism, compassion, service, encouragement, support, aid, financial assistance, mercy, justice, and the love of Christ.
